1980 Mercedes 450slc

For sale is our beautiful 450slc we imported from South Africa in 2025. The car is very solid indeed with no welding and no need to be welded. We have spent a lot of time cleaning her interior which is the all original leather and carpets in great condition as can been seen in the photos. We have completely rebuilt the suspension including removing and rebuilding the front sub frame with all new suspension bushes this work has had a fantastic effect on handling and motorway driving. All the brakes have been done and a new SL shop exhaust system fitted and sounds fantastic.

The cars vacuum systems are all working as they should also the cruise control is fully functioning. We do have the original Mexican hat wheels and original steering wheel if you don’t like the Penta wheels and AMG steering wheel. We have put a huge amount of time and money into our SLC and its a great car to drive and attracts a lot of attention wherever we go in her. Over the winter now we have been getting colder weather she has not been starting as I would like so her entire fuel injection system has been gone through front to back up grading the K jet tronic fuel distributor to the fully adjustable aluminum one new WUR secondary air flow ect. Also a new timing chain fitted at the same time this has greatly improved her cold starts on frosty mornings and pick up whilst driving.
